Unknown won the ExxonMobil Futsal Championships, defeating Achievers 16-8 at the Retrieve Hard-court, Linden on Saturday evening.
Jermaine Beckles recorded five goals while Adrian Aaron and Ryan Hackett netted four goals apiece. On target with one goal respectively were Darrel George, Donovan Francis and Eusi Phillips.
For the losers, Mickel Jeffers and Joel Isaacs netted three goals apiece while Amoniki Buntin netted two goals.
With the win, Unknown pocketed $500,000, and the championship trophy while the runners-up received $200,000 and the corresponding accolade.
Meanwhile in the third place playoff, YMCA crushed Team R9 15-5 to receive the third place prize of $100,000.
