Dear Editor,
The Catchment District was Prashad Nagar, the scheduled distribution date October 31, at the Prashad Nagar Mosque – one block from the residence of this shut-in pensioner, who had been fortunate to have someone deliver a letter from him, along with current pension book for identification, explaining his non-attendance at the distribution service.
This is to confirm that the documentation was honoured and a recording made by a distribution officer who promised to make contact on the telephone/address given.
Needless to say the promise has not been honoured up to the time of writing. In the circumstances it would be helpful if the Old Age Pension Office would consider just adding one more leaf to my 2023 Pension Book and deliver to the Campbellville Post Office who are familiar with this supplicant, in time for use in the new year. Most grateful for your facilitating the publication of this plea.
