Police still on the hunt for Laing Ave shooters

The police are still on the hunt for the four persons who were involved in the shoot-out at Laing Avenue last Friday that resulted in the death of 53-year-old Dexter McFarlane who was hit by a stray bullet.

According to the Commander of Regional Division 4 ‘A’, Simon McBean, no one has been arrested in relation to the incident and further investigations are still being conducted.

McFarlane, a construction worker, was fatally shot last Friday at about 17:00hrs at Laing Avenue, West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, while on way his home from work.
