Georgetown (GT) registered a second-round win over East Bank by a 306-run margin as the Demerara Cricket Board Under-15 inter-association tournament continued at Queen’s College Ground on Saturday.
Georgetown won the toss and decided to take first strike where they piled on 365 for eight in their full quota. East Bank could only manage 59 for seven in 23 overs.
The city side was catapulted to the mammoth total on the heels of Emanuel Lewis striking 103 as his innings featured 10 sixes and three fours. Lewis added 166 for the third wicket with Trilok Nanan who carved six boundaries during his 52-run innings.
