(Trinidad Guardian) Sixty-five-year-old Donald Sylvester has been charged with the murder of his 32-year-old son Nicholas Sylvester. He was charged following advice received from the Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC.
According to police reports, Nicholas was at home with his father when they got into an argument during which his father got a pellet gun and shot him in the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital but died the next day.
Donald surrendered to officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region Two, on November 15th. Investi-gations were supervised by ASP Douglas, Insp. Ramjag and W/Insp. Sylvester all of HBI Region Two.
Sylvester was charged with the offence by PC France also of HBI Region Two, on November 19th.
