Dear Editor,
For over thirty years, my stories for children were published in the Children’s page of the Mirror newspaper. This should number over two hundred stories for the period I consistently submitted for publication with poems for children. These stories were not retained in files by me. It is my belief that those who have shown interest in them can access them via the National Library and the National Archives assuming that they are collected as reference materials.
If they cannot be perused through these services, then they are forever lost. One of the stories appeared in “The Lure of the Mermaid,” a publication for children edited by the late Mrs. Janet Jagan. Another one appeared in a Guyana Yearender Magazine years ago. I am sorry that I did not keep copies. I did not consider them of high quality. Time and feedback from many have proven me wrong.
Sincerely,
Krishna Nand Prasad
