Team Mohamed has added the sport of archery to its sponsorship portfolio, committing to donating an annual subsidy of $400,000 towards the local federation Archery Guyana.
This was disclosed by an official release from the entity.
According to the correspondence, the federation will receive $100,000 on a quarterly basis to aid in the development of the discipline.
“Team Mohamed has yet again widened its philanthropic ideals in the sporting arena beyond committing to motor racing, boxing, and football in Guyana by embracing Archery. November 18, 2022, marked the historic moment when Azruddin Mohamed became an official sponsor of Archery Guyana Inc., the governing body for Archery in Guyana with an annual sponsorship commitment of $400,000.00 as Team Mohamed seeks to assist in promoting the sport of Archery in Guyana,” the release stated.
Archery Guyana has already received the first sum of $100,000 which will be utilized in the staging of the 2022 National Championships that is penciled for December 3rd-4th at the Sophia Exhibition Centre.
