A consumer affair

Recently I saw a Consumers Affairs Commission ad. It was released in December 2020, but I had never seen it before a few days ago. Messages from this ad included the fact that according to the Guyana Consumers Affairs Act, customers have the right to receive a receipt as proof of their purchase with the date and item purchased. Also, customers have a right to at least a six-month warranty in writing and the habit of some business owners erecting signs that they do not accept returns or grant refunds is illegal.
