Some 33 of the 991 players registering for the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction are from the West Indies.
This was revealed by the operating body of the biggest franchise league globally with 277 overseas players among the lot for the December 23 event set for Kochi, India.
Australia has the largest number of entries at 57 followed by South Africa with 52 and they are the only two nations with more entries than the Caribbean. England has 31 players while New Zealand and Sri Lanka have 27 and 23 respectively.
