The Ministry of Health on Saturday reported a total of 17 new COVID-19 cases.
The new cases were confirmed from the results of 105 tests that were conducted, according to the ministry’s updated COVID-19 dashboard.
There were 11 new cases recorded in Region Seven, 3 in Region Four, 2 in Region One and 1 in Region Two.
In addition, the dashboard also showed that there were five persons in institutional isolation and 214 persons in home isolation.
The total number of deaths from the virus to date in Guyana remained at 1,285.
