A 25-year-old miner of Charity, Region Two died yesterday after being pinned by a tree in the Buckhall area in the north west.
Dead is Rovin Moses of Charity, Region Two.
According to his mother, Patricia Moses, she received a call from another son Shane Moses around 11:00 am telling her that Rovin had died after a huge tree fell and pinned him in a cave at Buckhall. She said that he left in July to work with a dredge owner from Charity.
“We don’t know much. All I know is a set of them were in a cave, others escaped but he didn’t”, the tearful mother said.
Efforts are being made to bring his body out to Region Two.
