A Region Two octogenarian is now the country’s latest COVID fatality. The Ministry of Health yesterday said that the unvaccinated 86-year-old woman succumbed on Tuesday.
The new death takes the country’s pandemic fatalities to 1,286. The last COVID death was recorded on November 26th.
Meanwhile, a total of 46 new cases have surfaced after 318 COVID tests were carried out. Three cases were from Region One, four from Region Two, 13 from Region Three and 26 from Region Four.
The ministry’s dashboard says that 1 person is in the COVID ICU, while eight are in institutional isolation and 238 in home isolation.
