Forty-six-year-old Gregory Benjamin of Charity Squatting Area on the Essequibo Coast was on Wednesday remanded to prison on a charge of hitting his ex-wife on Christmas Day.
The incident occurred on December 25th 2022 at Charity Squatting area. He made his appearance at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court virtually where he pleaded not guilty. Bail was objected to and he was thereafter remanded to prison. The case will be called again on January, 10, 2023.
