The government on Wednesday gazetted a series for the orders for the acquisition of lands for the gas pipeline which will run along the West Demerara.
The orders describe the parcels of lands that are to be acquired.
Compensation will then have to be issued to the owners of the land.
These areas include Java, Vreed-en-Hoop and North Half Klien Pouderoyen.
Detailed descriptions have been given of the parcels to be acquired.
