The annual football tournament in honour of former Mayor of Georgetown Hamilton Green will be played later this month.
According to reports, tournament organizer and former Member of Parliament Lennox Arthur will stage the tournament from January 28- March 12.
The tournament was last held in 2018 following which the COVID-19 pandemic forced the organizer to cancel the 2019 event.
Arthur expects the tournament to return with a bang.
Green, a former Prime Minister, celebrated his 88th birthday last November 9th but Arthur a former national footballer and coach, who is also the coordinator of the Mayor’s Cup Committee, opted to stage the tournament this year.
