Dear Editor,
In what can only be described as stinging and frustrated statements from top judicial officers of the need for more judges in an overburdened and taxed system, yet again another promise… the cries will be addressed within three months, with the appointments of the requisite Commissions – the PSC and JSC.
Why such a seemingly lengthy wait, when the need is dire? The modus operandi adopted by a judge, to aid and cope with the situation and in the interest of timeliness, of sending to counsel the audio recording of an oral judgement seems sensible in action and consideration should be given to its serious adoption.
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
