Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cricket West Indies, Johnny Grave is confident that the body has seen a financially solid 2022 despite rumors of them being broke.
According to Grave on the Mason and Guest show, “2022 has been a record year in terms of revenue and profits and probably almost $80M in revenue so a high of $70M is probably our record revenue, a surplus of north of US$20M, so in terms of the strength of 2022 is probably a record year for the organization,” when asked about commentary on their financial status.
“Our auditors are in at the moment, we will complete our financial audit by the next week or so and that would go through the finance committee and then to our shareholders at the AGM in March,” Grave continued.
