The first of two Guyana Harpy Eagles practice matches got underway yesterday at the National Stadium, Providence with Shamar Joseph and Gudakesh Motie leading the way with the ball while Matthew Nandu resisted with a gritty half-century.
Chanderpaul’s XI won the toss and inserted Permaul’s XI who were bowled out for 261 in 86 overs.
Chanderpaul’s XI duly closed the day on three without loss.
