Dear Editor,
I was happy to watch the News Conference of President Irfaan Ali in relation to his recent visit to India. However I was also sad, as I discovered to my chagrin that the National Colours were displayed in the background in an upside – down position. This is not the first time that at a high level government function one of our symbols of nationhood was disrespected. Is it an indication that things at the highest level in Guyana are upside – down? I hope not. May God help Guyana.
