The Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) yesterday released its calendar of activities for the 2023 season.
This calendar presents a detailed listing of all National, Regional and International competitions the association plans to host and attend.
First up for the association will be the hosting of a Development meet on Sunday at Edinburg. The calendar is scheduled to conclude on November 5 with the South American 10k Classic in Georgetown.
While most of the local meets are slated for the National Track and Field Centre at Edinburg, the AAG is optimistic that the synthetic facilities in Linden and New Amsterdam will be completed and open before the end of 2023 so that some of its competitions can be staged across Guyana.
