A vehicle inspection and lecture on various topics was conducted on Saturday by officers of Regional Division 4 ‘A’ for some of the force’s drivers in the Brickdam Police Station compound.
According to release, the lecture and inspection took place from 09.00 hours to 13.00 hours, and was conducted by the Officer-in-Charge of Traffic (Regional Division 4 ‘A’) Assistant Superintendent Clarke; Logistics Officer, Sergeant Lyte; and Licensing and Certifying Officer & Traffic Education Officer (Regional Division 4 ‘A’) Corporal Johnson. The topics discussed were: road safety theme, defensive driving, rules of the road, the five Cs, care & custody of Force vehicles, complying with traffic signs & signals, and the use of the siren.
