The engagement between the minister and the BEA on infrastructure contracts (SN Jan 20) is a positive step and must be lauded. Only positive outcomes can emerge and one hopes more engagements of this sort would continue.
Keeping with lauded, the partnership of a business conglomerate and the Parkside Steel Orchestra (KN Jan 20) is a clear case of business recognising its social conscience and responsibility and making a tangible contribution.
This can only augur well not only for pan music but the all-round development of young people drawn to the art. The company must be complimented and commended for its astuteness. I look forward to the positives emerging from these engagements.
