In what was easily the biggest victory of the day and the competition, Swan swamped Timehri `B’ 11-0 Saturday when the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/Tiger Rental’s U-13 competition continued at the National Training Center (NTC), Providence.
In the second day of competition for the East Bank Football Association (EBFA) leg of this nationwide tournament, Kevin DeGoias with seven goals, Marko Andrews, with a brace and single strikes from Mario DeSantos’ and Omesh Charles, put paid to Timehri B’s hopes.
Some four matches were held despite the imminent threat of rain and, in the first match Friendship scored an enterprising 9-0 win over Samatta Point. In the second match, Timehri A made light work of Agricola Red Triangle 6-2.
In other results, Herstelling Raiders scored a 3-1 win over Diamond United who had earlier defeated Agricola Red triangle 4-3 while Timehri A team beat Herstelling Raiders 8-0.
