A 62-year-old woman of Region Three is the country’s latest COVID fatality, according to the Ministry of Health.
It was stated that the woman died on January 22nd at the Infectious Diseases Hospital at Liliendaal and her vaccination status was unknown.
The new death has taken the country’s COVID death toll to 1,294.
According to the dashboard issued yesterday, the country recorded 23 new COVID cases after 967 tests were done. One person is said to be in the COVID ICU while five are in institutional isolation and 390 in home isolation.
