The Ministry of Education today issued an invitation for bids for the reconstruction and furnishing of the Christ Church Secondary School on Middle and Camp Sts.
The school was destroyed by a blaze on January 12 which the Guyana Fire Service has deemed as arson.
The invitation in today’s Stabroek News said that all tenders must be submitted to the national tender board on or before 9 am on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Education, Lot 21 Brickdam, telephone number 227-0470.
The fire displaced 502 students. They are presently being accommodated at the Cyril Potter College of Education.
