Charge against fake ‘doctor’ dismissed

Mikhail Thadius McLennon

Mikhail Thadius McLennon, who was previously charged with having fake medical qualifications, saw the charge against him dismissed by Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Providence Magistrate’s Court after the prosecution failed to produce witnesses for his trial.

In October, McLennon of Pattensen, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown was read the charge which stated that on June 3rd at Peters Hall, East Bank Demerara (EBD), not being a licensed medical officer, he held himself out to Bibi S. Hassan as qualified to practice medicine. He pled not guilty to the charge and was placed on $80,000 bail.
