Alex Arjoon and Kathy Ten-Pow walked away with division titles when the BCQS Masters Squash Championship concluded on Saturday evening at the Georgetown Club Facility on Camp Street.
Arjoon brushed aside Shawn Simpson of Barbados 11-5, 11-9, 11-7 to clinch the men’s 30-44 championship while Ten-Pow defeated Lydia Fraser 11-6, 11-1, 11-6 to win the women’s 35 & over section.
In the men’s 65 & over division final, Winston Findlay of USVI defeated Dennis Dias 9-11, 11-9, 5-11, 11-7, and 11-4.
In other results, Nicolette Fernandes overcame Daniel Ince 6-11, 11-5, 11-8, 8-11, 11-7 in the men’s 30-44 section, while Mark Sealy crushed John Holley 11-9, 11-4, 11-6 in the men’s 55-64 division.
Tian Edwards defeated Hazel-Anne Sandy of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 11-8, 11-8, 3-5 in the women’s 35 & over section.
In the men’s 55-64 section, Joseph Mekdeci defeated Barbadian Marlon White 11-6, 11-8, 12-10 while Peter Harris of Barbados downed Narendra Singh 11-8, 11-6, 11-4.
