Twenty-nine-year-old Stefan Hamlet also called ‘Bennyman’ of Anns Grove, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was yesterday remanded to prison after being slapped with three charges of illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and discharging a loaded firearm with intent.
The three charges were read to the defendant by Magistrate Crystal Lambert at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court. Hamlet pleaded not guilty to all three charges and was remanded to prison until February 27th.
