ENet has thrown its financial support behind the third edition of the Rawle Toney 3×3 Basketball Classic by making a donation of an undisclosed sum to the coordinating team at the company’s Camp Street headquarters.
The event will be staged over the course of two days [March 18th and 19th] at the Burnham Basketball Court, Parade ground. The tournament is expected to have an international flavour, as clubs from Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and St. Lucia are scheduled to participate.
The winner of the tournament will pocket $400,000 and the championship trophy, with the runner-up and third-place finisher pocketing $200,000 and $100,000 respectively. Meanwhile, MVP Sports will outfit the competing teams with complete uniforms.
Tournament coordinator Toney praised the company for always being a supporter of the discipline at the local and international level, adding, “I’m extremely grateful for ENet showing support once again, as it demonstrates their readiness to help in the development of sports, and in this case, 3×3 basketball.”
Meanwhile, ENet’s Marketing Coordinator Ashley John revealed that the company was proud to once again support the venture, which has created a platform that provides developmental value to the sport.
