The Ministry of Health (MOH) yesterday said that as of February 9th, 2023, one more person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,297.
The latest victim is a man, 67 from East Berbice-Corentyne.
Meanwhile, fourteen new cases have been reported.
