TSC, PSC and GCC record massive wins

Transport Sports Club (TSC), Police Sports Club (PSC) and Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) recorded their first wins of the 2023 season as the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) started the year with the Atlantic Marine Supplies Suzuki motorcycles second division T20 tournament over the  weekend.

Hetmyer’s Gulf Giants lift title

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, CMC – Measured bowling, led by former West Indies Twenty20 International captain Carlos Brathwaite, set things up, and purposeful batting, led by Caribbean Premier League recruit Chris Lynn, led Gulf Giants to a breezy seven-wicket win against Desert Vipers in the final of the inaugural ILT20 yesterday.

Red Force skipper Darren Bravo struck his second century in the match against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes Saturday in their drawn encounter.

NORTH SOUND, Antigua,  CMC – Veteran left-hander Darren Bravo Saturday tugged at the heartstrings of West Indies selectors with his second hundred of the game as Trinidad and Tobago Red Force drew their second round Regional first class contest against Leeward Islands Hurricanes.

Penalty shootouts highlight Guinness Greatest of the Streets quarterfinals

Four penalty shoot-out results highlighted the quarterfinal section in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ West Demerara championship, as Showstoppers, Jetty Gunners, Ballerz Empire, and Bagotstown Warriors secured semi-final places on Saturday evening at the Pouderoyen Tarmac.  Witnessed by a large crowd, former three-time champion Showstoppers battled past West Side Ballers by a 2-0 score-line on penalty kicks following a 1-1 result at the end of full time.

Sparta Boss prevails in penalty shoot-out

Tournament heavyweights Sparta Boss, Bent Street, Back Circle, and Gold is Money punched their respective tickets to the quarterfinal round when the inaugural edition of the Rock Futsal Championship resumed Saturday evening at the National Gymnasium.
