Olympian Allicock honoured by GBA

At a special ceremony Sunday night at the La France Restaurant, Charlotte Street, boxer Keevin Allicock was honoured by the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) for being an Olympian.

However, the GBA did not stop there but they also made a presentation of a quantity of equipment to the U16 Guyana Schoolboys Boxing Team as well as launch the Patrick Ford Memorial championships billed for later this month.

Bantamweight boxer Allicock became the first Guyanese in 25 years to participiate at the Olympics when he fought at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.
