Prince Williams, a 44-year-old businessman of Lot 7 Canvas City Wismar, Linden was yesterday remanded to prison on a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
At around 9.40 am yesterday, the accused appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magis-trate’s Court, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded. The matter was adjourned to March 14, 2023, for disclosure.
The police say that ranks arrested the 44-year-old businessman on Tuesday after he was found to be in possession of 2069.8 grammes of cannabis in a building located at Bayrock Junction, One Mile Extension, Wismar, where he was the lone occupant.
