I write to acknowledge the correction offered by Roger Ally on motor vehicle data on Guyana (SN 15/2/2023). In a rush to get to press I mistakenly wrote that Guyana has 285 cars per capita, rather than 275 per 1000 persons. The same expression should have been applied to other countries in my letter. The correction is appreciated.
