Says Charwayne Walker
Discarded West Indies batsman, left- hander Darren Bravo added his name to an illustrious list of Regional players with centuries in each Innings at the Regional first-class level recently.
Bravo became only the third Trinidadian to achieve the feat following in the footsteps of Gerry Gomez (deceased) and Michael ‘’Joey’’ Carew (deceased). Playing against the Leeward Islands at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium ground in the second round of this year’s four-day competition, the flamboyant stroke maker put the hosts to the sword with an even 100 in Trinidad & Tobago’s first Innings. In the second Innings he scored an unbeaten 100 to enter the record books.
