Following his historic election to the helm of Central American and Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CONCENCABA) at the entity’s General Assemble and Elections on February 13th, Patrick Haynes is aiming to adopt a collective approach to develop the sport in the sub-region.
This was disclosed by an official release from the Guyana Basketball Federation (GBF). Haynes was elected in Miami, USA, becoming the first Guyanese to sit at the helm of the regional body, after defeating former Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) chief Glyne Clarke of Barbados. He will also serve as the FIBA Americas’ 1st Vice-President.
