Teen athletes with aspirations of representing Guyana at this year’s CARIFTA Games in the Bahamas will have their first opportunity to punch their tickets when the National Sports Commission (NSC) Junior League is staged this weekend.
Athletes are scheduled to get into the blocks at the National Track and Field Centre from 10:00hrs tomorrow and Sunday. The trials will be used to select Guyana’s team for the 50th edition of the event. This year, the annual fixture will return to the Bahamas where the Thomas Robinson Stadium will host from April 7 to April 10.
