Dynamic FC will face off with Ann’s Grove in the final of the East Coast Mash Cup Football Championship this evening following a 3-0 semi-final victory against Pouderoyen on Thursday evening at the Golden Grove ground.
Tyrice Dennis opened the scoring in the seventh minute. The lead was doubled in the 39th minute, as Makayha Jervis found the back of the net. The outcome was then sealed in the 67th-minute compliments of a Teon Stewart strike.
Dynamic FC will now oppose Ann’s Grove in the championship match after the latter downed Slingerz FC 1-0 in the other semi-final match. The respective losers will match skills in the third-place playoff.
The winner of the tournament will pocket $500,000 and the championship trophy, whilst the second, third, and fourth-place finishers will collect $250,000, $150,000, and $100,000 respectively, and the corresponding accolade.
