The Georgetown Cricket Association’s (GCA) U15 cricket team extended its dominance in Demerara by beating West Demerara by 10 wickets in the Demerara Cricket Board U-15 Inter-Association 50-over tournament yesterday.
West Demerara won the toss and elected to bat first but were routed for 64 in 36.3 overs out of their allotted 45 overs. GCA needed just 8.5 overs to win the match their openers racing to 65 without the loss of a wicket.
In West Demerara’s innings, extras were the main contributor towards the total with 28.
