Eagles defeated Castrol Strikers by a 3-1 score-line when the Demerara Volleyball Association (DVA) Senior Men’s League continued on Wednesday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
The first set ended 25-20, as the Eagles unit soared into the early advantage. The lead was then doubled at 2-0, as Eagles secured the second stanza 25-19. However, the Eagles outfit saw their advantage reduced in the third set, as they lost 20-25.
Nevertheless, Eagles completed the result in the fourth stanza, as they prevailed 25-17.
