Silvie’s Industrial Solutions yesterday opened its newest branch at Lot 90 East Henrietta, Anna Regina, Region Two.
According to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bramanand Persaud, Silvie’s Industrial Solutions was prompted to open the new location due to customer demand. He noted that residents in Region Two will now be able to easily access high quality products and parts. He added that all the products and equipment available in Georgetown will also be available at the Henrietta branch.
“We are here as a team to serve, we are here to provide solutions, we believe in collaboration, we are here to serve and we will continue to serve”, Persaud declared.
The CEO commended his team for working hard to establish the branch. He noted that the company is aspiring to bring a high level of customer service by creating a service-oriented atmosphere. The Henrietta location boasts a wide variety of equipment and products for contractors, miners, farmers, restaurants, electricians, vulcanizers, welders, mechanics, and painters.
“We will continue to provide solutions for your problems. We have our online store [where] you can shop online, so when you shop you will be able to collect here. We are thinking of delivery service also so you don’t need to go to Georgetown.” Persaud added, “I can tell that Silvie’s made the investment the right time and we will soon establish an industrial site and there will be a demand”
Director of Business at the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, John Edghill, remarked that Silvie’s Industrial Solutions was established at an opportune time and Essequibo is the “right place.” He said that Essequibo is transforming and the private sector and consumers no longer have to travel to the city of Georgetown to access products.
Meanwhile, Mayor of Anna Regina, Rajendra Prabhulall, said he was happy that the management of Silvie’s exercised confidence in the township of Anna Regina. He pointed out that Silvie’s is a household name and many Essequibians know of the company.

She noted that the population in the region is expanding and so is the demand on the coast. Saywack assured that the administration will continue to provide the necessary business environment to support businesses in the region.
“This is a massive investment for Region Two and it will provide local jobs and more employment within our region. So on behalf [of the Regional Administration], I wish to congratulate the management and staff and I wish you every success.”
President of the Essequibo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Suean Seewnarayan echoed that the establishment is a plus for the region and welcomed the team. She reminded that in the past, businesses had to travel long distances to access services and she is happy that they are coming to its customers.
“We want to welcome you and your team to the region, and to be a part of the ECCI family.”
At the end of the ceremony, the ribbon was cut by the supervisor of the location after which a tour was conducted of the store.
