Eagles brushed aside Young Achievers 3-0 when the Demerara Volleyball
Association Senior Men’s League continued Friday night at the
National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue. The experienced Eagles outfit seized the early lead when they narrowly
won the first set 25-23.
The lead was then doubled in the second set where they prevailed 25-17. The result was sealed in the third set as the Eagles
unit outscored their opponent 25-21.
Meanwhile, the semi-final section of the tournament will commence
tomorrow at the same venue. Eagles will match skills with Castrol
Strikers from 20:00hrs.
