During February 24-25, 2023, China’s Ambassador to Guyana, Guo Haiyan and her colleagues of the Embassy visited Lethem, Region 9, and paid a courtesy call on Chairman of Region 9 RDC Bryan Allicock and Mayor of Lethem John Macedo.
A release from the embassy said that the Ambassador also visited Amerindian villages nearby. The 18th Chinese Medical Team provided free medical services to the local people during the visit.
