A Sophia miner, charged with simple larceny, was on Monday released on $50,000 bail after appearing in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Twenty-seven-year-old Junior Doughling made his appearance before Prin-cipal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus who read the charge which stated that on February 16th at Croal Street, Georgetown, Doughling stole a guitar valued at $75,000, property of Douglas Joseph.
The father of one pleaded not guilty and was granted bail with the condition that he report to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Brick-dam Police Station every two weeks. The matter was adjourned until March 20th, 2023.
