Massy Motors yesterday announced their lucky grocery winners who all received $50,000 each in vouchers along with the other winners who won paid electricity bills and oil change among others.
The winners were randomly selected through a specific software that generated the lucky names internally and in the presence of a monitor for transparency.
Their five lucky grocery winners were: Avinash Singh of Essequibo Coast, Gregory Methelholzer of New Amster-dam, Jocette Bacchus of North Ruimveldt, Ronell Mendoca of Prospect and Laurice Holder of Uitvlugt. The grand prize winner was Omadat Duca, who won $300,000, but unfortunately was unable to attend to receive his prize.
The winners expressed their gratitude to Massy Motors for granting them the opportunity to win the promotion.
Methelholzer told Stabroek News that winning always carries a good feeling and he is beyond grateful because he always participate in promotions for various companies. He also stated that winning, when it becomes a habit, attracts more. Bacchus on the other hand said, “I’m indeed elated and overjoyed to be here, my partner and I have a business and one of the components of our business is car rental, we came to a decision to add a fleet of Volkswagen and sometimes Volkswagen is like a pretty girl. We’re happy to be purchasing all of our batteries from Massy,” Bacchus added. She also noted that she will definitely recommend that persons buy their batteries from Massy Motors.
And Holder in his comments to this newspaper revealed that on January 1st, 2023, his vehicle started to give problems and he and his wife decided to go to Massy Motors and purchase the Moura Battery. Holder said since then his car has been working just fine. He too thanked Massy for giving him the opportunity to win something and he is very grateful. Ronell Mendoca’s wife collected his voucher on his behalf and Singh extended his gratitude to Massy and also to God for allowing him to win something for the first time of his life.
Meantime, Shavone Ross of Mahaicony prize will guarantee her utility bills paid for the next 6 months, she too is also was very much grateful to Massy for allowing her to win something for the first time in her life. Greg Stevens of Farm Housing Scheme was the winner of free fuel and two oil changes for the next 6 months. He, too, was elated and extended gratitude to Massy Motors.
