The star cyclist took his talents to the ‘Gateway to the Interior’ yesterday and rode off with the spoils of the ‘One Guyana’ Bartica Cycling Classic.Staged around the avenues of the Region 7 town, John won the second edition of the event, besting a quality field which comprised the cream of the nation’s wheelsmen.
The 25 year-old led Curtis Dey and junior standout, Aaron Newton onto the podium for the race which was staged for an hour plus two laps.
