Robin Nadata Simon, a 44-year-old housewife of Haslington, ECD, was arrested on 2023-03-06 and charged today with the offence of Acts of Terrorism, contrary to Section 109 (A) (1) (b) (ii) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 8:01.
The police said that she appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court 2 on 2023-03-09 where the charge was read to her. She was not required to plead and bail was granted in the sum of $250,000 with the condition that she lodge her passport and report every fortnight at Cove and John Police Station.
The matter was postponed to 2023-03-28 for report.
