Dear Editor,
I have been following the situation with the eviction and subsequent reoccupation of the PNC office in Lethem. Through all of this there has been a common face at the front of the defense of the party office, Carl Parker.
Whether you agree or disagree with what has transpired so far, one cannot help but be impressed with the tenacity of Mr Parker. Truth be told he has put a lot of his city counterparts to shame with his activism on behalf of his party. And I am certain that it is no coincidence that in all of his public shows of defense on behalf of his party that he is always decked out in green.
Does Mr Parker hold a leadership position in the hierarchy of the party? If not, then the party would do well to immediately offer him such a role for the party is presently woefully short on leaders who have character and commitment to the cause.
Sincerely,
