Dear Editor,
With back-to-back visits to one of our motherlands with several outcomes, it seems this particular motherland is a panacea for what ails us, especially in the agricultural sector, as we seek greater collaboration. But the sector is also set to seek out aid from the country whose finance minister recently called for a Palestinian village to be ‘wiped out’. This pugnacious and repugnant remark was strongly condemned by its staunch supporter, the U S, the U N human rights chief among others. Where do we stand with our Palestinian brothers and sisters against this atrocious call or is our country tone deaf, all in the name of development?
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
