East Ruimveldt crushed Chase Academy 4-0, when the Georgetown leg of the Blue Waters Girls U15 Developmental Football League continued on Friday at the Georgetown Football Club ground, Bourda.
This is according to a release from the Guyana Football Federation (GFF). Dellanna Small recorded a hat-trick while Fayon Harry added to the score.
Meanwhile, Charlestown and Lodge played to a scoreless affair. According to the release, “The aim of the league is to increase the number of young girls playing football, identify new talent, raise the profile of female football and provide coaches with more hours to work with young female footballers.
The league is being played as a national school competition across all school districts and is supported by the Ministry of Education.”
